Saw some great sights along the way —old lady chilling on porch swing with handsome grey cat, a million goldies, guy on bike with sourest look on his face ever, an oversized pomeranian barking…

First bike commute in a couple of months, and it was the WORST! Fought a headwind the whole way in. But that means the day can only get better from here, right? Right??

Second run with forerunner. Temporary solution to 110 sync problem is to manually enter numbers and import gpx from garmin connect. Too much work tonight to get much of a run in, but even this…

Switched to a forerunner! Much more accurate numbers now, but I guess dm sync with the 110 isn’t supported yet, so for now it’s data entry! Oh well, c’est la vie!

Sheesh, still pretty hot out there! Managed four sprints up “the big hill” this time, up from two. That killed my pace for the last two miles, but was so much fun. Awwww yisssss!

Still hot.
Got a short one in before dinner. Felt pretty good, but the heat, the heat! Surprisingly effective music: Hot Snakes, Sleater-Kinney. Surprisingly ineffective music: Inception score.

So hot! Had a good time but walked too much and probably pushed a bit too hard given the weather and time of day. And may have slowed down under a few sprinklers. And may have thought I was…

On burgers in indy...
Encountered this this week, returned to the search for burger rat-holes in Indy.
In Toronto there be Apache Burger (re-dubbed Mapacha Burger), there be Magoo’s, Licks, Wimpy’s, Vesta Lunch, burgers which somehow distinguished themselves for good or for ill. Here so far I would put on a similar list Boogie Burger, and maybe Five Guys, and I cannot think of anything else. So I guess...
